Spacefaring Adventures

It all began on a rainy thursday afternoon. The kind of afternoon, people would be relaxing drinking, tea and living in the general sort of way. But this afternoon happened to be slightly more significant. Only slightly.

On this modestly average Thursday afternoon. A alien was born. To his senses he was no alien. To his parents senses he was no alien. To his species senses he was no alien. In short to everyone that mattered, he was no alien.

This particular alien was given life by the semi-average sentient beings of words that cannot be pronounced. To make it easier, nicknames will be provided.

The mother counter-part was named Mara, and the father counter-part was named Para. These two beings were not unusual, nor were they the most boring of the world too.

Para was a reporter for a highly successful newspaper that just happened to cover the inter-solarity affairs of his solar system. Mara was in the most basic sense, an educator or teacher of a sort. They both lived very comfortably, and never had too many worries.

At the place of 'not too many worries' on this particular Thursday afternoon, the alien (which hardly in any senses was an alien) was just beginnning to open his eyes. Now this may seem not unusual at all, but for the parents this was freak of nature. The infants of this species usually open their eyes three years after they were born, and still squint for another two.

But no, this alien had opened its eyes, very wide only moments after emerging from his mother. Mara and Para, unsure of the actions to take, quickly promised each other not to tell anyone of this troubling event.

Except for having a pair of functioning eyes, this alien was pretty normal. It was happily nourished and adored by its two parents, and was quite blissful indeed. Soon it began to walk around its dwelling, and formed simple sounds.

This was after two years. Then again, this may seem quite usual, but to the already worrying parents, panic had started to set in. Most infants open their eyes at age three and start to walk at age fifteen. This means that this alien was starting to become the most unusual indeed.

These parents had decided to take action. Two years and one day after this unusual alien was born. It was thrown into the wilderness on its own.

This was the introduction, now begins the story of the alien.

...
... Bumpy ride... loving bodies carry me... beautiful surrounding... a wonderful lullaby...faces look sad...kiss me...walking away...one looks back...but continues.........

Becomes cold...scary things run and jump every where...one scratches me...time to fight...grab one by its neck...blood everywhere...I grab another and throw it at a tree...I kill to many to count...sun starts to rise...the creatures run away, and I'm alone.

My thoughts are quite clear this morning. It feels like I have access to my whole brain for the first time, like it was locked off before. I know words I don't think I've even heard before. Its feels strange. And my body, it feels much stronger than yesterday. Like I was a baby before, but changed into something different.

I take note of my surroundings. I'm in a middle of a small clearing, with huge trees surrounding it. There are blood stains from the previous attack across my entire body. The grass beneath my feet is soft, feels like my old blanket.... My blanket, I start to remember my old life. The old one...Is this to be my new life? I remember my two parents had loved me, but taken me here.

To die?

I can't think of such sorrows. My stomach gurgles and reminds me of the precious nurishment needed.

At the edge of the clearing grows a gyup bush. The time of the year is just right for harvest of these common fruits. After filling my stomach, I try to recall my name. Strangely enough, I don't recall even having one. So I decide to name my self Loiy. Sounds fitting enough.
